The Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Fuel 25 launched for India

Lava’s smartphones and India go together like Peanut Butter & Jelly, so it’s no surprise that the company has just released two new handsets for the region. They are known as the Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Lava Iris Fuel 25, and both belong to the company’s big battery line.

The Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25 are two of the newest devices in the Fuel lineup, and you can bet the farm they won’t be the last. If February, we touched on the Lava Iris Fuel 20 with its 4,400mAh battery. The two new smartphones don’t have a juice box quite as large, but a 3,000mAh is still bigger than a lot of smartphones carry these days. Especially budget handsets like the Fuel 10 and Fuel 25.

As for the specs, the Lava Iris Fuel 25 is the lower spec’d of the two with a 5-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core chip, and 512MB of RAM. The 3G handset will rock Android 4.4, sports a 5MP/0.3MP camera combo, and will give you 4GB of expandable storage to work with. The Lava Iris Fuel 10 specs are a bit better with a 1.3GHz quad-core chip, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage and a 5MP/2MP camera combo. The Fuel 10 has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854, and will run Android 4.4 out of the box.

The Lava Iris Fuel 10 price is listed at Rs. 6,541 in India while the Lava Iris Fuel 25 will set you back Rs. 5,666. Both handsets should become available in the region soon, and will come with 500MB of 3G data through Airtel for pre-paid customers.
