Towards the end of last year, Finnish company Nokia announced their new Lumia phone range consisting of the 710 and 800 devices. Another on its way is that of its bigger brother the 900 reported to be the company’s flagship device.
Today we wanted to bring you news regarding the new Nokia Lumia 800 with its price and release date in the US. Courtesy of theverge.com, its been reported that the handset will be available in Microsoft’s retail stores on February 14th, being the day of Valentines.
Before we give you its specs, the phone is being retailed as a bundle and not on its own, and we have to say the hefty price may put a fair few of you off buying it. Offered as a stand-alone price and not on contract by any carrier, the Lumia 800 will set you back $899. For this you will get a 3.7-inch Amoled ClearBlack display, 8MP rear camera with the impressive Carl Zeiss Optics, 720p video recording, Internet Explorer 9 in a choice of black, pink, blue and now white.
From purchasing the phone bundle, you will add to this by receiving a Nokia Play 360 Wireless Speaker, Purity HD Stereo Headset and Bluetooth headset.
Let us know your thoughts on the Nokia Lumia 800 price? We would be interested to hear your feedback. Many have said that the bundle price is way too hefty when you can pick up other handsets such as the Apple iPhone 4S as a cheaper alternative.
