ZTE Smooth, Blade, Racer and Mercury and Others on their way

Chinese ZTE seems to be working hard to push out numerous new smartphones which will run Android and include the Smooth, Blade, Racer and Mercury smartphones according to an article over on unwired view who gain their info from mobile-review.

Not a great deal of spec info available but what is known is that the ZTE Blade is a high end smartphone sporting a 3.5 inch WVGA touch screen, runs Android 1.6 OS, GSM/UMTS, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth and WiFi.

Then there’s the ZTE Racer which again runs Android 1.6OS and packs a 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, 3G UMTS, GPS, compass, accelerometer, light and proximity sensors and WiFi.

The ZTE Mercury is another Android 1.6 OS smartphone which resembles the HTC Hero with a 3.2 inch HVGA touch screen, along with EDGE, and GPS.

The ZTE Smooth is Android 1.6 OS and resembles the Palm Pre, and packs a QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch QVGA touch screen, 3G UMTS, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and WiFi.

Other ZTE handsets which we don’t have much info on at the moment are the ZTE Smile with is said to resemble the Helio Ocean, and the ZTE Cute which looks much like a Nokia N97 smartphone, no word on avy availability or pricing of these ZTE handsets yet though.
