faithful may have noticed that for a period of time the Apple App Store was down yesterday which led to hopes of Apple pushing out an upgraded product or perhaps Apple returning the vanishing white iPhone 4 back to its online shop.

However, unfortunately it was neither of these things as according to iPhone-developers

the reason the App Store was down was because Apple was launching their brand new online store for China.

Probably doesn’t mean a great deal to those outside China, but the new Chinese Apple App Store is big news for Chinese iPhone users, especially when you consider virtually all Apple products are assembled on their soil.

So there it is the reason the App Store was down, and sadly no signs of that much awaited for white iPhone 4

making a return much to the disappointment of many.
