iOS 5 Release Date Sort Of Confirmed: Twitter Integration Event: Update

Apple’s new iOS 5 is still in beta stages, but some very interesting news has just come in suggesting iOS 5 will release around October 10th, read on for full details.

New Twitter developer events have been marked down for October 10th and the 12th, this surely confirms release for the date suggested above.

If you visit “Developer Teatimes” they have just scheduled two events for October 10th and October 12th, and they will mainly be covering the deep Twitter integration with iOS 5, this new feature was announced this summer at WWDC.

One of Twitters messages to developers said “There’s a lot going on in the ecosystem and we’d like to take this chance to share the highlights with you — including the latest developments with the platform, areas of opportunity that we’re seeing, and a heavy focus on the iOS 5 Twitter integration for developers.”

If you add the Employee vacations being cancelled for week 2 in October it really does suggest that iOS 5 is about to release on the date mentioned above, this is all hear say at the moment but the events are proof that something is about to happen.

Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook will deliver announcements at WWDC 2011 in October (Suggested to be October 4), this Apple event is surely going to happen Oct 4 because if the Twitter announcement is happening October 10 there is no way that Twitter would announce anything to do with iOS 5 until Tim Cook has made his announcement first.

Why would Twitter go public with iOS 5 before Apple do, get ready for the public iOS 5 announcement and release date before October 10th.

Apple has yet to release its iOS 5 firmware, so expect the iOS 5 GM to release this week sometime.

October 4th will be the day iOS 5 is announced with public release dates, features etc, this should be announced side-by-side with the new iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S. Time will tell and we will keep you updated until finally announced and released.
