Galaxy S4 Active Android 4.4 KitKat update starts rolling
A number of Samsung handsets are currently waiting to get treated to a newer version of the Android operating system, and we now have news that the international version of the Galaxy S4 Active Android 4.4 KitKat update starts rolling.
It is being reported that the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in the Netherlands has begun receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, which should mean the new firmware will shortly spread to other regions in Europe and beyond.
This comes after the US version had been released but was quickly pulled for the AT&T version of the handset. The update that is rolling out now will see the handset go up to build number I9295XXUCNE5, and will bring things such as improved performance, better battery life, camera shortcut via the lockscreen, white status bar icons, and much more.
This news comes after we told you yesterday that Samsung were already testing Android 4.4.3 KitKat on some handsets.
Have you got the update yet?
