Galaxy Note 4 launch for touted for early October

#

The official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 took place early this month, and we heard it would release for some regions in October although no particular time was given. We’ve since heard some release news and pricing for the UK and US, and now the Galaxy Note 4 India launch is touted for early October.

Although the market for affordable smartphones in India is vast, there is still plenty of action for top-flight handsets. It’s now reported that this potential could mean that the Galaxy Note 4 will arrive for India in the first week of October. If the report is accurate it looks as though the phablet will be available in India before the UK and US, where it’s not expected to release until approximately the middle of the month.

We’ve already heard pricing for the Note 4 in those countries but the Galaxy Note 4 price for India has still not been confirmed. Given the price for other markets and the fact that it’s a high-end smartphone it’s likely to be sold for around Rs. 50,000, although pricing may vary according to retailer.

If you’re considering the Galaxy Note 4 as your next device purchase you may be interested in a recent comparison of it against the iPhone 6 Plus here, or alternatively some video comparisons of it vs. the Sony Xperia Z3 and LG G3 here. One of the highlights is the 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440, and it also has the benefit of the S Pen Stylus.
